A clear path from photo to upload

1. Add the original. Choose HEIC, HEIF, JPG, PNG, or WebP images, or drop them into the workspace.
2. Match the requirement. Choose JPG, PNG, or WebP. Open the optional controls only when you need a pixel or size limit.
3. Save with confidence. Each result shows its actual size and dimensions, plus whether a JPG or WebP target was met.

Will conversion solve the upload problem?

This tool helps when a computer, app, or upload form needs a different image format, smaller dimensions, or a smaller file. Renaming .heic to .jpg does not convert the image; it only changes the filename.

If an upload form gives a maximum width, height, or file size, enter that limit. The tool never enlarges an image. It tests the actual JPG or WebP output at the selected dimensions and says when the requested byte target cannot be met.

How this converter works

The conversion code runs in your browser. It decodes a compatible image, draws the requested dimensions on a browser canvas, and creates your chosen output file. The converter does not send selected image files to an upload service.

HEIC and HEIF use a decoder loaded only when one of those files is selected. JPG, PNG, and WebP use normal browser decoding. JPG output uses a white background for transparent source pixels; PNG preserves transparency.

Privacy during conversion

Selected images are processed in this browser and are not uploaded by this converter. Previews and converted output objects remain available for the current session until you clear the queue or leave the page. Your original file is not changed.

Supported files and limitations

The picker accepts .heic, .heif, .jpg, .jpeg, .png, and .webp. HEIC and HEIF are families of formats, so some variants and malformed files cannot be decoded here. Those files show a clear conversion error rather than being retried indefinitely.

Each batch can contain up to 10 files, with a 25 MiB limit per file. Large photos may require substantial browser memory and very large decoded images are refused for safety. JPG and WebP use lossy quality settings. PNG has no matching quality setting, so it cannot promise a target byte size. Converted copies do not preserve source metadata.

Choose the output that fits the job

JPG suits photos and upload forms that ask for JPEG. It is lossy and transparent areas become white. PNG is useful when transparency matters, but it has no quality slider or reliable byte target. WebP can be a compact choice where the destination accepts it; verify that service's format rules first.
