Keep the composition you need

Use a free crop for an irregular frame or choose a 1:1, 4:3 or 16:9 ratio. The numeric position and dimensions describe the selection in the rotated image. Use the numeric controls when precise selection or touch dragging is difficult.

Rotation and flipping change the editing view. Review the crop again after rotating. The downloaded image contains the selected pixels; cropped-out areas cannot be recovered from that copy. Your original file stays unchanged.

Need an exact output frame?

This cropper exports the selected area at its crop dimensions. Use the image resizer to scale it to another size or add padding. Use Compress JPG if the destination instead sets a maximum file size.

Supported files and output limits

Work with one still JPG, PNG or WebP image at a time, up to 25 MiB and 40 megapixels. Output is limited to 16 megapixels and 16,384 pixels on either side. Large images may exceed the memory available on a phone; use a smaller source if decoding fails. Animated PNG and WebP are rejected.

For HEIC or HEIF, first make a compatible copy with HEIC to JPG. The editor checks supported file signatures before browser decoding; a recognized signature does not guarantee a valid image.

Exports are newly encoded files. JPG and WebP quality settings are lossy; PNG retains transparency. JPG needs a solid background. Original metadata is not copied, and color rendering can differ between browsers. This is not a lossless metadata-removal or forensic privacy tool.

Keep the original and review the result

Selected image files stay in browser memory and are not uploaded by this tool. Keep editing the original without choosing it again, then download the result when its preview and dimensions are right. Clearing the editor or leaving the page releases its working files. There is no saved editing history.
